Canadian Grand Prix

This post is now two days late. The truth of the matter is I haven’t seen the race. We set it to DVR because kid life almost always ensures we don’t get to watch races live. This time the schedules were messed up and instead of F1, we had golf. Golf. No offense to the millions of people who love the sport, but it’s what I watch if I’m having trouble falling asleep.

I know Hamilton won again after a staggering qualifying lap for pole position. I know Vettel and Bottas rounded out the podium finishers, and I know Rosberg came in 5th which means Hamilton is chipping away at the points lead again. All the pundits are clamoring about how Lewis is “finally back.”

Too bad. I enjoy watching the race in Montreal–it’s on my bucket list to go there one day.

But at least we have the “European” GP this weekend, even though it’s no where near Europe. It’ll be interesting to see what this new track in Baku will offer.
